Quality at Puma Engineering encompasses every activity we undertake, from initial receipt of a customer enquiry through to contract completion. Puma’s Quality Management System is accredited by Lloyds to BS EN ISO 9001:2008. We have clear and defined quality objectives to provide a quality product, first time, every time.
The Quality Management System has been in force for nearly 15 years, within that time frame we have continuously strived to make improvements to the system which we feel not only benefit our personal business but strongly support the ever increasing demands made by our clients.
Our proven system ensures that we deliver quality goods in a defined and controlled manner complete with a fully comprehensive Quality Assurance documentation package to meet with our client’s critical requirements. The QA/ QC documentation packs are derived from our comprehensive Manufacturing Record Books & Inspection Test Plans that are being compiled throughout each stage of the project.
As part of our quality management system we have an extensive inspection and documentation process to ensure goods leave our works meeting the clients exacting project specifications and tolerances. As part of our continual improvement philosophy and to ensure that we meet the European legislative requirements Puma Engineering has also undertaken the approval of the following accreditations & specification certification:-
Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014 – 68 – EU Approved by Lloyds Register The PED accreditation ensures Puma can manufacture & CE mark pressure vessels and process pipework in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive.
Construction Products Regulation (CPR) 305/2011/EU - Approved by Lloyds Register The CPR accreditation ensures Puma can manufacture and issue certification for numerous types of structural steelwork in compliance with the European standards and regulations.
ASME IX & BSEN 15614 & BS 4515 Welding Procedures & Welder Qualifications - Third Party Approved by Lloyds Register All Puma Engineering weld procedures and welder qualifications are third party approved by Lloyds Register & supported by TWI software and technical support.
