SITE INSTALLATIONS & SHUTDOWN SUPPORT

Puma Engineering can offer a complete turnkey package of installation support for all activities normally associated with shutdowns and site enhancement projects. Projects can be undertaken whereby Puma engineering can derive skid mounted service packages from client specifications which include pipe work, vessels and electrical installations culminating in a fully tested and commissioned turnkey facility ready to be installed by our site crews. This approach ensures that the facility is complete and ready to produce with the minimum of delay which reduces on site activities which can be affected by uncontrolled situations such as inclement weather conditions.

We have a dedicated and fully trained work force conversant in all facets of onsite activities, the personnel are extremely experienced in all the key areas including safety.

Puma Engineering have created a team with individuals that are multi-disciplined therefore the need for numerous men to carry out individual tasks is not a necessity.

We have fully trained appointed persons for all lifting activities, which include the creation and submission of documented procedures to safely carry out any lifting activities that may be required.

Our team have vast experience when it comes to Torque tightening and Tensioning of critical flange bolting, these activities are carried out in accordance with the industry standard for the closure of all process flanges when installing any system and fully documents to meet the oil and gas industry regulations.

Members of the team are fully trained in the use of the lokring flanges and couplings system, team member are certified for this discipline and regularly attend courses to ensure latest techniques are fully understood and applied. The Lokring method has many advantages to welding due to hot work permits not being required when installing this these types of connections.

Another key attribute is confined space working which is undertaken by the site team as another support activity. Regular training is undertaken to keep abreast of any changes to the safe system of work processes and procedures.

As part of our overall service we also undertake to install lagging / cladding of pipe work and vessels, this ensures that we can offer a complete turnkey solution for our clients. We provide a full service for the removal and installation of lagging and cladding both to pipe systems and vessels, this is further enhanced by the application of heat tracing when required.

We have recently undergone a full training package to enable our site support team to provide a laser survey facility, the accuracy of the survey and subsequent drawings means this can be adopted on site to alleviate the need for numerous closure welds and onsite NDE which can cause program delays and high NDE costs.

The provision of a final report capturing all activities undertaken during the course of a shutdown to ensure that all requirements have been fully completed to the satisfaction of the client who can then sign off the report to ensure closure to a contract.
